Michigan High School Basketball - Pontiac tops Rochester

February 2, 2024: Rochester Hills, MI 48307

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Pontiac Phoenix (Pontiac, MI) and the host Rochester Falcons (Rochester Hills, MI), saw Pontiac's basketball squad knock off Rochester by a count of 59-50.

With the victory, Pontiac upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Phoenix travel to Royal Oak (Royal Oak, MI) to play the Ravens in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 9. The Ravens come into the challenge with a record of 9-8.

Next up, the Falcons play the Avondale Yellowjackets (Auburn Hills, MI) in a Oakland - Blue challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Rochester will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 12-5 record after their 58-44 league win over University (Ferndale, MI).
