In Friday's league outing, the Vandegrift Vipers (Austin, TX) basketball squad edged the visiting Round Rock Dragons (Round Rock, TX), by a count of 51-49.
The Vipers (21-8) will now prepare for their outing against Cedar Ridge (Round Rock, TX). The Raiders go into the 6A Region IV District 25 outing with a 15-14 record. In their last outing, Cedar Ridge held off Manor (Manor, TX), 66-55, in a league outing.
The Dragons now hold a 17-12 record. They play next when they host McNeil for a 6A Region IV District 25 outing on Tuesday, February 6. Round Rock will clash with a Mavericks squad coming off a 76-54 league loss to Round Rock Westwood (Austin, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 13-17.
