Torrey Pines Falcons (San Diego, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Sage Creek Bobcats (Carlsbad, CA), 58-45 in a league bout.

With the victory, Torrey Pines upgrades its record to 19-6 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Montgomery (San Diego, CA) to play the Aztecs in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Aztecs come into the bout with a record of 22-2. Montgomery won 72-29 in their recent league bout against Bonita Vista (Chula Vista, CA)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Carlsbad Lancers (Carlsbad, CA) in a Freelance bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Sage Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 14-12 season record. The Lancers come into the bout with a 24-2 record after their 84-48 league win over San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA).
