Massachusetts High School Basketball - Stoneham knocked off by Wakefield Memorial

The Wakefield Memorial Warriors basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Stoneham Spartans to 50 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.
The Warriors now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Burlington for a Middlesex contest on Tuesday, February 6. Wakefield Memorial will meet a Red Devils team coming off a 57-45 league win over Melrose (Melrose, MA). The Red Devils record now stands at 12-5.
The Spartans (3-14) will now prepare for their contest against Watertown (Watertown, MA). The Raiders enter the Middlesex contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Watertown ran past Wilmington (Wilmington, MA), 64-60, in a league contest.
