The Algona Bulldogs (Algona, IA) basketball knocked off the host St. Edmond Gaels (Fort Dodge, IA), 56-38 in Friday's league test.
The Bulldogs (15-4) will now prepare for their test against Pocahontas (Pocahontas, IA). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 12-6 record. In their last test, Pocahontas notched a victory over West Bend-Mallard (West Bend, IA), 56-41, in a league test.
The Gaels now own a 4-14 record. They play next when they travel to Glidden-Ralston for a non-league test on Thursday, February 8.
