The Sequoia Pathfinder Verrado Way basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting AZ Compass Prep National Dragons to 47 in the league triumph on Friday.
The now sport a 13-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maricopa Institute of Technology for a non-league contest on Monday, February 5. Sequoia Pathfinder Verrado Way will meet a team coming off a 77-40 league loss to Ridgeline Academy (Phoenix, AZ). The record now stands at 6-5.
The Dragons (16-1) will now prepare for their contest against East Valley Athletes for Christ (Mesa, AZ). The Eagles enter the Canyon Division 2 - Sahuaro contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, East Valley Athletes for Christ triumphed over Heritage Academy (Maricopa, AZ), 51-11, in a non-league contest.
