Georgia High School Basketball - Burke County trounces Southeast Bulloch

The Burke County Bears (Waynesboro, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets (Brooklet, GA), 48-19 in Friday's league test.
The Bears (12-9) will now prepare for their test against Islands (Savannah, GA). The Sharks go into the AAAA Region 3 test with a 0-14 record. In their last test, Islands was trounced by New Hampstead (Savannah, GA), 77-20, in a league test.
The Yellow Jackets now own a 3-13 record. They play next when they travel to Metter for a non-league test on Saturday, February 3. Southeast Bulloch will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 51-47 league win over Screven County (Sylvania, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 14-4.
