The Byron Eagles basketball team (Byron, MI), was overwhelmed 57-23 in Friday's league battle with the visiting New Lothrop Hornets (New Lothrop, MI)
The Hornets now possess a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Michigan Lutheran Seminary for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 6. New Lothrop will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 43-33 league loss to St. Louis (St. Louis, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-4.
The Eagles (2-12) will now prepare for their battle against Webberville (Webberville, MI). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, Webberville was overwhelmed by Morrice (Morrice, MI), 52-25, in a non-league battle.
