Elmwood-Murdock Knights (Murdock, NE) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Palmyra Panthers (Palmyra, NE), 48-31 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Elmwood-Murdock upgrades its record to 17-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Freeman (Adams, NE) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 15-3. Freeman won 42-30 in their recent non-league bout against Weeping Water (Weeping Water, NE)

Next up, the Panthers play the Weeping Water Indians (Weeping Water, NE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 3. Palmyra will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 13-7 record after their 42-30 non-league loss to Freeman (Adams, NE).
