North Carolina High School Basketball - North Gaston overwhelmed by Forestview

The North Gaston Wildcats basketball team (Dallas, NC), was overwhelmed 69-37 in Friday's league battle with the host Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC)

The Jaguars now possess a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ashbrook for a 3A Big South battle on Tuesday, February 6. Forestview will confront a Greenwave team coming off a 56-26 league loss to Crest (Shelby, NC). The Greenwave record now stands at 5-14.

The Wildcats (4-16) will now prepare for their battle against Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Mountaineers come into the 3A Big South battle with a 0-16 record. In their last battle, Kings Mountain was overwhelmed by Huss (Gastonia, NC), 72-19, in a league battle.
