In Friday's league outing, the Union City Golden Tornadoes (Union City, TN) basketball squad felled the visiting Gleason Bulldogs (Gleason, TN), by a margin of 44-32.
The Golden Tornadoes (11-12) will now prepare for their outing against Greenfield (Greenfield, TN). The Yellowjackets go into the 1A District 14 outing with a 13-7 record. In their last outing, Greenfield was beaten by South Fulton (South Fulton, TN), 42-40, in a league outing.
The Bulldogs now own a 11-12 record. They play next when they travel to Lake County for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 3. Gleason will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 71-43 league loss to Dresden (Dresden, TN). The Falcons record now stands at 3-16.
