With the victory, Goose Creek Memorial improves its record to 13-14 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Lee (Baytown, TX) to play the Ganders in a 5A Region III District 17 challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Ganders come into the challenge with a record of 5-24. Lee lost 54-32 in their recent league challenge against Crosby (Crosby, TX)

Next up, the Rangers play the Port Neches-Groves Indians (Port Neches, TX) in a 5A Region III District 17 challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Sterling will attempt to improve on its 8-17 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 12-24 record after their 43-25 league loss to Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX).
