The Spearville Lancers basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Kinsley Coyotes to 20 in the Lancers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Lancers now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bucklin for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Spearville will meet a Red Aces team coming off a 49-46 league win over Hodgeman County (Jetmore, KS). The Red Aces record now stands at 13-3.
The Coyotes (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Otis-Bison (Otis, KS). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Otis-Bison was routed by Ashland (Ashland, KS), 46-16, in a non-league contest.
