North Carolina High School Basketball - Wilson Prep knocked off by Northwest Halifax

The Northwest Halifax Vikings basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Wilson Prep Tigers to 42 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rocky Mount Prep for a 1A Tar Roanoke contest on Tuesday, February 6. Northwest Halifax will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 75-14 league loss to North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-10.

The Tigers (3-14) will now prepare for their contest against Greenfield (Wilson, NC). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 7-11 record.
