Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Tonopah Muckers (Tonopah, NV) and the host Beatty Hornets (Beatty, NV), saw Tonopah's basketball squad wallop Beatty by a tally of 42-18.

With the victory, Tonopah improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Muckers travel to Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV) to confront the Serpents in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Serpents come into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Mineral County lost 67-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Virginia City (Virginia City, NV)

Next up, the Hornets confront the Pahrump Valley Trojans (Pahrump, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Beatty will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record.
