The Matoaca Warriors (Chesterfield, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Hopewell Blue Devils (Hopewell, VA), 64-41 in Friday's non-league test.

The Warriors (5-11) will now prepare for their test against Thomas Dale (Chester, VA). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record.

The Blue Devils now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Petersburg for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 6. Hopewell will encounter a Crimson Wave squad coming off a 56-55 non-league win over Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA). The Crimson Wave record now stands at 11-4.
