The Alpena Wildcats (Alpena, MI) basketball felled the visiting Oscoda Owls (Oscoda, MI), 61-53 in Monday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (7-12) will now prepare for their test against Dow (Midland, MI). The Chargers go into the non-league test with a 13-7 record. In their last test, Dow thwarted Arthur Hill (Saginaw, MI), 65-47, in a league test.
The Owls now own a 12-8 record. They play next when they host Hillman for a North Star test on Thursday, February 23.
