The Jonesboro Hurricane basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Cabot Panthers to 51 in the Hurricane league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hurricane now sport a 15-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central for a 6A Central contest on Friday, February 23. Jonesboro will meet a Tigers team coming off a 57-56 league loss to North Little Rock (North Little Rock, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 23-6.
The Panthers (10-18) will now prepare for their contest against North Little Rock (North Little Rock, AR). The Charging Wildcats enter the 6A Central contest with a 19-7 record. In their last contest, North Little Rock ran past Central (Little Rock, AR), 57-56, in a league contest.
