In Tuesday's league outing, the Lewiston-Altura Cardinals (Lewiston, MN) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Chatfield Gophers (Chatfield, MN), by a margin of 66-44.

The Cardinals (19-12) will now prepare for their outing against St. Charles (St. Charles, MN). The Fighting Saints go into the AA Section 1 outing with a 16-13 record. In their last outing, St. Charles was trounced by Plainview-Elgin-Millville (Elgin, MN), 81-68, in a league outing.

The Gophers now own a 5-23 record. They play next when they host Dover-Eyota for a AA Section 1 outing on Friday, February 23. Chatfield will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 76-52 non-league loss to Wabasha-Kellogg (Wabasha, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 9-16.
