In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Holy Cross Indians (Covington, KY) basketball squad felled the visiting Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds (Newport, KY), by a margin of 66-56.

The Indians (16-12) will now prepare for their outing against St. Henry (Erlanger, KY). The Crusaders go into the non-league outing with a 11-15 record. In their last outing, St. Henry was beaten by Campbell County (Alexandria, KY), 69-63, in a non-league outing.

The Thoroughbreds now own a 7-21 record. They play next when they host Bishop Brossart for a non-league outing on Friday, February 23.
