In Thursday's league contest, the host Lewiston-Altura Cardinals basketball team scored a big 85-62 win over the Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs.
The Cardinals (17-9) will now prepare for their contest against Dover-Eyota (Eyota, MN). The Eagles come into the AA Section 1 contest with a 5-20 record. In their last contest, Dover-Eyota smashed Albert Lea (Albert Lea, MN), 88-78, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Wabasha-Kellogg Falcons (Wabasha, MN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 21. Plainview-Elgin-Millville will attempt to better on its 7-17 season record. The Falcons come into the contest with a 6-19 record after their 65-50 non-league win over St. Charles (St. Charles, MN).
