In Thursday's non-league test, the Winooski Spartans (Winooski, VT) basketball squad trounced the visiting Mt. Abraham Eagles (Bristol, VT), by a score of 64-43.
Next, the Spartans clash with the Twinfield Trojans (Plainfield, VT) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 22. Winooski will attempt to improve on its 14-8 season record. The Trojans come into the test with a 17-4 record after their 68-36 league win over Northfield (Northfield, VT).
The Eagles (8-12) will now prepare for their test against Vergennes (Vergennes, VT). The Commodores come into the Lake test with a 12-6 record. In their last test, Vergennes bounced Missisquoi Valley (Swanton, VT), 49-43, in a league test.
