Maryland High School Basketball - Gwynn Park overwhelms Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South

The Gwynn Park Yellowjackets basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South Tigers to 29 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Thursday.
The Yellowjackets now possess a 16-5 record. They play next when they travel to High Point for a non-league game on Monday, February 24. Gwynn Park will confront a Eagles team coming off a 71-8 league loss to Bowie (Bowie, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 4-14.
With the loss, Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South falls to 12-7 on the campaign. The Tigers host Crossland (Temple Hills, MD) to confront the Cavaliers in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A game on Monday, February 24. The Cavaliers go into the game with a record of 7-12. Crossland lost 47-46 in their recent league game against Surrattsville (Clinton, MD)
