Churchill Lancers (Eugene, OR) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ashland Grizzlies (Ashland, OR), 55-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Churchill upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The Lancers travel to Eagle Point (Eagle Point, OR) to clash with the Eagles in a 5A Midwestern bout on Tuesday, February 22. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-11. Eagle Point lost 47-17 in their recent league bout against Willamette (Eugene, OR)

Next up, the Grizzlies clash with the Thurston Colts (Springfield, OR) in a 5A Midwestern bout, on Tuesday, February 22. Ashland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-17 season record. The Colts go into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 52-28 league loss to Churchill (Eugene, OR).
