In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting North Providence Cougars basketball team scored a good 54-43 triumph over the Blackstone Valley Prep PRIDE.
In their next game, the Cougars meet the North Smithfield Northmen (North Smithfield, RI) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 23. North Providence will attempt to move on its 13-8 season record. The Northmen enter the match with a 20-3 record after their 71-49 non-league win over Prout (Wakefield, RI).
With the defeat, Blackstone Valley Prep moves to 15-6 on the year.
