    The Grundy County Yellowjackets basketball team (Coalmont, TN), dropped 79-61 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Cascade Champions (Wartrace, TN)

    The Champions now sport a 25-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host LEAD Academy for a 2A District 8 battle on Saturday, February 25. Cascade will battle a Panthers team coming off a 80-53 non-league loss to Pearl-Cohn (Nashville, TN). The Panthers record now stands at 4-18.

    The Yellowjackets (17-9) will now prepare for their battle against Pearl-Cohn (Nashville, TN). The Firebirds come into the non-league battle with a 17-8 record. In their last battle, Pearl-Cohn prevailed over LEAD Academy (Nashville, TN), 80-53, in a non-league battle.
