The Cascade Champions topped the visiting Grundy County Yellowjackets basketball team by a final score of 72-57 in Monday's league game.
In their next game, the Champions face the Franklin County Rebels (Winchester, TN) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 7. Cascade will attempt to move on its 22-4 season record. The Rebels enter the game with a 11-13 record after their 58-45 league win over Shelbyville Central (Shelbyville, TN).
With the defeat, Grundy County moves to 14-7 on the year. The Yellowjackets host South Pittsburg (South Pittsburg, TN) to face the Pirates in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 7. The Pirates enter the game with a record of 16-9. South Pittsburg lost 46-38 in their recent non-league game against North Jackson (Stevenson, AL)
