In Tuesday's league outing, the Chugiak Mustangs (Chugiak, AK) basketball squad edged the host Eagle River Wolves (Eagle River, AK), by a margin of 58-55.
The Mustangs (4-14) will now prepare for their outing against Bettye Davis East Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Thunderbirds go into the 4A Cook Inlet outing with a 18-2 record. In their last outing, Bettye Davis East Anchorage held off West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK), 45-43, in a league outing.
The Wolves now own a 2-14 record. They play next when they host Dimond for a 4A Cook Inlet outing on Friday, February 24. Eagle River will clash with a Lynx squad coming off a 80-34 league win over South Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Lynx record now stands at 17-3.
