In Monday's league outing, the Eagle River Wolves (Eagle River, AK) basketball squad felled the host Chugiak Mustangs (Chugiak, AK), by a margin of 61-53.
The Wolves (1-9) will now prepare for their outing against Service (Anchorage, AK). The Cougars go into the 4A Cook Inlet outing with a 9-6 record. In their last outing, Service was beaten by South Anchorage (Anchorage, AK), 50-49, in a league outing.
The Mustangs now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Dimond for a 4A Cook Inlet outing on Tuesday, February 7. Chugiak will clash with a Lynx squad coming off a 82-38 league win over Chugiak (Chugiak, AK). The Lynx record now stands at 13-2.
