In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Eastern Hancock Royals basketball team scored a tight 61-57 triumph over the Pendleton Heights Arabians.
In their next game, the Royals face the Hagerstown Tigers (Hagerstown, IN) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 24. Eastern Hancock will attempt to move on its 17-6 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 7-15 record after their 52-45 league loss to Tri (Straughn, IN).
With the defeat, Pendleton Heights moves to 7-16 on the year. The Arabians travel to Richmond (Richmond, IN) to face the Red Devils in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 28. The Red Devils enter the game with a record of 15-6.

Free throws, free throws, free throws. When you play a very good basketball team, you have to hit free throws. In this case, they did and we didn't. 50% vs 74% is not a good statistic. We had a tied score with less than a minute left in the game, but they scored and we didn't. Our leading scorer was Evan Mozingo with 16 points. He was followed closely by Josiah Gustin with 14. Aaron Cookston was next with 9 points. One more point and he would have hit a double double as he pulled down 10 rebounds. Dontrez Braxton and Isaac Wilson each scored 7. Brayden Kanitz contributed 4. The regular season is now over and tournament season begins next Tuesday as the Arabians have a first round game against Richmond at the Muncie Fieldhouse. Tip off is scheduled for 7:00.
