Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Ravens now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grants for a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 25.
With the loss, Highland falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Hornets host Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM) to face the Knights in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 23. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Del Norte lost 19-2 in their recent non-league challenge against West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM)
