Colorado High School Basketball - Ignacio overwhelms Alamosa

The Ignacio Bobcats basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Alamosa Mean Moose to 41 in the Bobcats league triumph on Friday.

The Bobcats now possess a 11-11 record. They play next when they host Monte Vista for a 4A/3A Intermountain game on Saturday, February 22. Ignacio will play a Pirates team coming off a 44-40 league win over Bayfield (Bayfield, CO). The Pirates record now stands at 10-10.

With the loss, Alamosa falls to 3-18 on the campaign. The Mean moose host Pagosa Springs (Pagosa Springs, CO) to play the Pirates in a 4A/3A Intermountain game on Tuesday, February 25. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 7-14. Pagosa Springs lost 56-20 in their recent league game against Centauri (La Jara, CO)
