The Buccaneers now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vestavia Hills for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 24. Hoover will face a Rebels squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Wicksburg (Newton, AL). The Rebels record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Hewitt-Trussville falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Huskies host Mortimer Jordan (Kimberly, AL) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 24. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. Mortimer Jordan lost 6-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Helena (Helena, AL)
