The Hewitt-Trussville Huskies routed the visiting Hoover Buccaneers softball squad by a count of 11-1 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Huskies (44-7) will now prepare for their battle against Fairhope (Fairhope, AL). The Pirates go into the non-league battle with a 40-2 record. In their last battle, Fairhope topped Daphne (Daphne, AL), 5-0, in a non-league battle.

The Buccaneers now sport a 39-16 record. They play next when they host Montgomery for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 18. Hoover will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Theodore (Theodore, AL). The Vikings record now stands at 20-23.
