In Wednesday's non-league test, the visiting St. Petersburg Catholic Barons lacrosse squad scored a tight 6-5 victory over the Boca Ciega Pirates.
The Barons now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northeast for a non-league test on Thursday, February 23. St. Petersburg Catholic will face a Vikings squad coming off a 8-3 non-league win over Tampa Prep (Tampa, FL). The Vikings record now stands at 2-0.
In their next game, the Pirates face the Countryside Cougars (Clearwater, FL) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, March 7. Boca Ciega will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 18-0 non-league loss to Palm Harbor University (Palm Harbor, FL).
