The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Boca Ciega Pirates (Gulfport, FL) and the host St. Petersburg Catholic Barons (St. Petersburg, FL), saw Boca Ciega's lacrosse team nudge St. Petersburg Catholic by a margin of 6-5.
The Pirates (4-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Cardinal Mooney (Sarasota, FL). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 9-6 record. In their last challenge, Cardinal Mooney edged Springboro (Springboro, OH), 10-9, in a non-league challenge.
