With the win, Brantley County upgrades its record to 1-4 on the season. The Herons host Ware County (Waycross, GA) to battle the Gators in a non-league test on Friday, February 23. The Gators come into the test with a record of 2-2. Ware County lost 12-1 in their recent non-league test against Glynn Academy (Brunswick, GA)

With the defeat, Charlton County falls to 1-1 on the season. The Indians travel to Echols County (Statenville, GA) to battle the Wildcats in a 1A D-II Area 2 test on Tuesday, February 27. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 0-1. Echols County lost 9-2 in their recent non-league test against Valwood (Valdosta, GA)
