Charlton County Indians (Folkston, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Brantley County Herons (Nahunta, GA), 1-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Charlton County upgrades its record to 16-1 on the season. The Indians travel to Turner County (Ashburn, GA) to battle the Titans in a 1A D-II Area 2 test on Monday, April 1. The Titans come into the test with a record of 3-15. Turner County lost 14-1 in their recent league test against Lanier County (Lakeland, GA)

With the defeat, Brantley County falls to 8-11 on the season. The Herons host Toombs County (Lyons, GA) to battle the Bulldogs in a 2A Area 3 test on Tuesday, April 2. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 12-7. Toombs County won 1-0 in their recent league test against Appling County (Baxley, GA)
