The Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy Eagle basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Coronado Leopards to 29 in the Eagle league victory on Thursday.

The Eagle now sport a 15-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Legacy Academy for a A District 7 contest on Friday, February 23. Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy will battle a Silverbacks team coming off a 2-0 league win over New Mexico School for the Deaf (Santa Fe, NM). The Silverbacks record now stands at 20-5.

The Leopards (8-15) will now prepare for their contest against Hozho Academy (Gallup, NM). The Wolves come into the non-league contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Hozho Academy triumphed over Tse' Yi' Gai (Cuba, NM), 61-56, in a non-league contest.
