The Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy Eagle basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Coronado Leopards to 40 in the Eagle league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagle now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jemez Valley for a A District 7 contest on Thursday, February 8. Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy will meet a Warriors team coming off a 52-16 league win over New Mexico School for the Deaf (Santa Fe, NM). The Warriors record now stands at 9-10.

The Leopards (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Legacy Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Silverbacks enter the A District 7 contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, Legacy Academy ran past Chesterton Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 75-11, in a league contest.
