The Dexter Tigers ran past the host Mattanawcook Lynx basketball team by a final score of 42-27 in Thursday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Penobscot Valley Howlers (Howland, ME) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 24. Dexter will attempt to move on its 19-1 season record. The Howlers enter the game with a 16-2 record after their 55-12 non-league win over Fort Kent (Fort Kent, ME).
With the defeat, Mattanawcook moves to 16-4 on the year.
