In Saturday's non-league test, the Anderson County Mavericks (Clinton, TN) basketball squad got by the visiting Gibbs Eagles (Corryton, TN), by a final score of 54-50.

Next, the Mavericks clash with the Clinton Dragons (Clinton, TN) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, February 25. Anderson County will attempt to upgrade on its 19-9 season record. The Dragons come into the test with a 19-10 record after their 55-49 non-league win over Union County (Maynardville, TN).
