In Friday's league outing, the Grafton Spoilers (Grafton, ND) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Carrington Cardinals (Carrington, ND), by a margin of 79-44.
The Spoilers (16-4) will now prepare for their outing against Hillsboro/Central Valley (Buxton, ND). The H-CV Burros go into the A Region 2 outing with a 11-11 record. In their last outing, Hillsboro/Central Valley was trounced by Four Winds/Minnewaukan (Fort Totten, ND), 75-48, in a league outing.
The Cardinals now own a 2-21 record. They play next when they travel to Devils Lake for a A Region 2 outing on Monday, February 26. Carrington will clash with a Firebirds squad coming off a 80-69 league win over Thompson (Thompson, ND). The Firebirds record now stands at 20-3.
