The Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders (Laurinburg, NC) basketball felled the visiting Temple Christian Tigers (Rockingham, NC), 50-33 in Friday's non-league test.
The Defenders (18-4) will now prepare for their test against Cornerstone Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 16-3 record. In their last test, Cornerstone Christian Academy thwarted Mintz Christian Academy (Roseboro, NC), 82-77, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 10-7 record.
