The Mahtomedi Zephyrs (Mahtomedi, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting South St. Paul Packers (South St. Paul, MN), 61-46 in Friday's non-league test.

The Zephyrs (14-11) will now prepare for their test against North (North St. Paul, MN). The Polars go into the AAA Section 4 test with a 9-14 record. In their last test, North went down by Tartan (Oakdale, MN), 54-45, in a non-league test.

The Packers now own a 10-13 record. They play next when they host Johnson for a non-league test on Monday, February 26. South St. Paul will encounter a Governors squad coming off a 89-51 non-league win over Humboldt (St. Paul, MN). The Governors record now stands at 19-4.
