In Friday's league outing, the Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers (Las Cruces, NM) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Reserve Mountaineers (Reserve, NM), by a margin of 59-35.
The SonBlazers (14-9) will now prepare for their outing against Reserve (Reserve, NM). The Mountaineers go into the non-league outing with a 4-21 record. In their last outing, Reserve was trounced by Cliff (Cliff, NM), 59-42, in a league outing.
The Mountaineers now own a 4-20 record. They play next when they travel to Cliff for a A District 2 outing on Saturday, February 24. Reserve will clash with a Cowboys/Cowgirls squad coming off a 66-43 league loss to Magdalena (Magdalena, NM). The Cowboys/Cowgirls record now stands at 20-3.
