The Reserve Mountaineers basketball team (Reserve, NM), was routed 61-33 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers (Las Cruces, NM)
The SonBlazers now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Animas for a A District 2 battle on Thursday, February 8. Mesilla Valley Christian School will battle a Panthers team coming off a 74-43 league loss to Quemado (Quemado, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 2-16.
The Mountaineers (3-16) will now prepare for their battle against Magdalena (Magdalena, NM). The Steers come into the A District 2 battle with a 19-1 record. In their last battle, Magdalena trounced Cliff (Cliff, NM), 44-20, in a league battle.
