The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Devine Warhorses (Devine, TX) and the visiting Hondo Owls (Hondo, TX), saw Devine's softball squad nip Hondo by a count of 7-5.

The Warhorses now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jourdanton for a non-league match on Thursday, February 24. Devine will face a Indians/Squaws squad coming off a 14-13 non-league loss to Steele (Cibolo, TX). The Indians/Squaws record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Hondo falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Owls travel to Randolph (Universal City, TX) to face the Ro-Hawks in a non-league match on Thursday, February 24. The Ro-Hawks enter the match with a record of 1-6. Randolph lost 16-1 in their recent non-league match against Lehman (Kyle, TX)
