Shafter Generals (Shafter, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host McFarland Cougars (McFarland, CA), 24-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Generals now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Delano for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 25.
With the loss, McFarland falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to North (Bakersfield, CA) to face the Stars in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 2.
