The McFarland Cougars softball team (McFarland, CA), was routed 16-0 in Monday's league test with the host Shafter Generals (Shafter, CA)

Coming up next, the Generals encounter the Arvin Bears (Arvin, CA) in a South Sequoia test, on Tuesday, May 3. Shafter will attempt to improve on its 15-9 season record. The Bears come into the test with a 8-11 record after their 4-1 league loss to Chavez (Delano, CA).
